Play Board Games! Featuring Takenoko!

It’ is time to get your game on at the Bensalem Branch Library. We have a nice selection of over 100 board games to play and you are encouraged to bring your own favorites to teach or play.

All experience levels are welcome to join us. Some of the games featured will include Ticket to Ride, The Resistance, Forbidden Island, Pandemic, Citadels, Dixit, and more.

We are keeping it simple with another gateway game standard - Takenoko. For you experienced ladies and gentlemen, feel free to pick out another game featuring a giant panda (or if you happen to have one, please bring it because I would LOVE to play it.) or by now just play whatever you feel like playing!

If you would like to learn a bit about Takenoko, check out the following episode of Tabletop.

Really enjoyed Takenoko and Belle of the Ball, even though I epically lost at both.

Well, don't know if I want to play takenoko, will we be able to play something else?

You can totally play whatever you want to play! But I will be teaching Takenoko if people are interested.

I enjoy playing pinochle. I will bring a deck just in case you don't like anything else that is offered. We can always play two-handed.
