Spring time and the flowers are blooming!
Let's take a little time to sit with the beauty of what is arising and passing.
Please join us for a 20-25 minute silent sit in the area of the Lake Harriet Rose Garden starting at 6:30PM. Then, there will be a short topic share on opening, and building habits of happiness within the Buddhist precepts. We can continue to share with one another how we are practicing positive ways to open to the the moment in our every day lives and any challenges that you would like to share.
The Five Basic Precepts are:
1. Honor all life.
2. Share your time and resources.
3. Take care with sexual energy, respecting boundaries and offering safety.
4. Speak kindly and carefully
5. Develop a clear mind and healthy body
Open to all. There is a request for donation to cover the costs of the group.
I will have a few blankets that can be used for sitting, feel free to bring your own blanket as well. We will be outside, so prepare for the weather. In case of rain, the event will not happen, and I will schedule it for another time.
