Insight and Mindfulness

The group begins with a 20 minute gently guided meditation. If you arrive late, please just come in and join the group in the sit. Then, there will be a short presentation by Constance and an opportunity to share your wisdom on the topic.

The topic is open right now. But, the discussion is intended to include reflection on your practice. My hope is that instead of trying to make sense out of Buddhist theology, that you just come and try and sense into or get the feel for the practice and see if it can be a benefit for your mind and body.

It would be really nice if a small group of us can share and enjoy this type of support on a regular basis. Please come even if you are new to the topic, all are welcome.

There is a request for any donation to help cover the cost of the space.

Come in the red doors at the top of the steps. Then, take the steps downstairs.  The room is on the left--in one of the classrooms, the Spirit Room, downstairs.

Parking is on the street where available. The church is on the 6 bus line easily accessible from Uptown.

With the nice summer weather we can also enjoy a walk down to Lake Harriet afterwards to enjoy the water view. :)

I missed the last event, but I'm looking forward to attending this one. It's nice to meet up with like-minded mindfulness practitioners.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
