Please come and join the group for a discussion on Buddhist values of loving kindness in every day life.
Be prepared to sit in silence for 15 minutes, hear a talk on the Metta Sutta as well as some deluded aspects of loving kindness from Constance Casey, a discussion and chance to check in with the group with your thoughts and or feelings on this topic.
You may be able to take away a heightened sense of how you can better care for yourself and your practice. During these darker days of the winter, we can always use a chance to brighten up our life and refresh ourselves with compassionate presence.
Feel free to come a little early to settle in for the sit. The silent sit begins at 6:30, and ends about 6:45PM.
If you arrive late just come in quietly, take a seat and join in with your own silent practice. The room can be a little cool, so feel free to bring along a little blanket.
Donations are requested at the beginning so that the group can be self supporting.
Here is a jar of flowers for you to brighten your day today.
May you be well. May be feel safe and free from harm. <3
