Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix a non-profit Buddhist Center that is open to everyone, and offers meditation classes, a variety of introductory and in-depth courses, chanted prayers and retreats. Classes take place in our beautiful meditation room and are suitable for all individuals whatever their level of interest, from those who seek simple relaxation to those who wish to find lasting inner peace and contentment through following the Buddhist path. # Finding Peace and Happiness That Lasts

In this series, based on Bodhisattva Langri Tangpa’s Eight Verses of Training the Mind, we will learn a step-by-step approach to lasting inner peace and happiness. If we have found lasting peace of mind elusive, have struggled with stress or experienced difficulties in relationships, this series will help us to gain faith in our own potential to overcome our perceived obstacles to happiness.

Meditation for Kids
Sundays 10am-11:15am
Ages 5-12
Cost: Donations always appreciated but not required.
During adult Sunday morning class, children can attend a special class just for them.
In these classes, kids learn basic Buddhist teachings like the importance of loving everyone, being generous, what to do when we get angry, and how to calm down. Each class includes a prayer, short teaching, short meditation and a craft project that explores the spiritual theme of the teaching.
Classes are taught by experienced and qualified Dharma Teachers.
