Sunday Sept 8th at Guang Ming Temple

Greetings Dharma Seekers:
See the following schedule for this Sunday, September 8th, at Guang Ming Temple: (Please Be On Time)
9:45 AM:  Silent Meditation in the Main
10:30 AM - 12:00 PM:  Sunday Service in the Main Shrine
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Clement Anson will be hosting a Tour of Guang Ming Temple and an Introductory discussion of Buddhism.  Please meet in the Water Drop Tea Room.  Invite your friends and family to take the tour and spend the morning with Clement.
10:30AM - 12:30PM:  Elizabeth Solis will be hosting an English Dharma Class focusing on Rebirth.  This is a concept which many people have difficulty with, so we want to clarify
what is rebirth, as a Buddhist concept, and what it is not. We will also look into what passes for scientific studies of this nature.
10:15 AM - 12:30 PM:  Howard Yeh and Fletcher Denton will resume with Session 11 of the  "From the Heart Sutra to Humanistic Buddhism" Series.
Also, our BLIA YAD (Young Adult Division) is sponsoring a School Supply Drive. (See the attached Flyer)  Please bring any new School Supplies you would care to donate for kids in need to Guang Ming Temple this Sunday.  The donated supplies will go to Community
Based Care a local Foster Care organization. It will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all 16 attendees. Your comments, questions and experiences are what make these discussions so rich. Hope to see you next Sunday as we discuss ways we can change our Karma.
