Join us Saturday mornings at Redeemer Lutheran Church (5431 NE 20th Ave) from 9:00 to 10:15 am for Leaven Project’s Buddhist Meditation and Mindfulness Group.
We will be sitting for fifty minutes (divided into three parts: two twenty minute sitting periods broken up by a ten minute walking meditation). No prior meditation experience needed, just come as you are and be prepared to learn something new about yourself!
Meditation is followed by a short group discussion, based on basic Buddhist concepts and from a variety of sources. By coming together each week we can strengthen each others mindfulness practice, enjoy community and develop a more mindful outlook with which to live in our interconnected world.
