Mingjo Rinpoche says, Refuge is the most fundamental basis for learning Buddhism. When people learn Buddhism, they often focus on learning Dharma itself, without paying attention to knowing the Guru who teaches us Dharma, and the way how we treat the Guru in our mind. When we use our existing concept to measure the Dharma that we learn, we may not have deep understanding. As a result we may not know how to apply it in cultivation and change our karma. We cannot achieve liberation by relying on our own power. The blessings from the Gurus and the Three Jewels are the main factor for achieving attainment. Even the Arhat-hood is attained by replying on the blessings of the Three Jewels. If we can understand the quality of the Guru who teaches us the Dharma, and generate strong mind of reliance, the blessings from Gurus and Three Jewels will become the inexhaustible source of motivation on the Bodhi path.

This class will help us to know refuge, our lineage, and the unique qualities of our Guru Mingjo Rinpoche. The class will also introduce the current extraordinary teaching series from Rinpoche: Lama Atisha's Garland of Gems.

This class is given in our main center in California. We will have live video connection. Please RSVP to attend. No charge for this event.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
