Flurrious Winter Festival

Flurrious is the annual outdoor festival held by the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. It consists of an entire day of winter activities as well as some hot food, beverages, and music to warm yourself back up.

Some of the activities include:
- Snowman building
- Ice skating
- Pond hockey expo
- Quidditch tournament (yes, that's right)
- Snow kickball
- Snow tennis
- Igloo building
- Sleigh rides
- Ice Man run (starts at 9AM)
- Cross-country skiing
- Kan Jam
- Broomball tournament
- Heated tent with food, beer, and live music

The meet time is tentative, but I figure the afternoon is best to gather people together.

Also, I don't think they provide skate rentals, so you'd have to bring your own to ice skate.

Since several of the events end at 3 or 4, I'm going to move the meetup time back a little bit. I'll try to keep an update for where we are if people prefer to meet later on.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
