In an attempt to get outside of my normal crowd, to meet new people and share all the great things I know of the region with others. Maybe meet some people who enjoy winter as much as I do and want to go skiing/boarding
Get out on the water; fishing, sailing. Hiking and camping is great on the outskirts of WNY. Go for a leisurely walk and admire the architecture. Have drinks at one of the few awesome bars with patios in the area. Watch the Sabres play, go to games. Skiing at Holiday Valley or Kissing Bridge if conditions are good. Promoting pond hockey and outdoor skating with Buffalo Olmsted Association. Community and art events around the city.

Cheers, on the upper end of the scale of the 20'somethings I have lived in Buffalo nearly all my life, with a small stint in Cleveland of three years. Always looking for something to do that doesn't necessarily require alcohol and merits new friends.
