Meetup #20 Ebenezer Ale House

Folks here is the surprise venue! You have asked for it for a while but it could not happen until now. We are featuring Sam Adams Brewery. Their rep has promised us a selection of little known beers from this big player in the market. We DO NOT have a list of specialty beer from them yet and we DO NOT have a cost structure yet. If you RSVP yes and then decide later to not attend then please change your RSVP as always. Veteran members are doing this but new members are not. If an extended pattern develops we will delete your membership to the group. So keep your eyes peeled for pricing for this event and a list of unique beer from Sam Adams.

Had a great time. Met some old friends and some new ones. Porch Rocker and Summer Ale, two of my favorites. The two IPA's were ok, the first one was better than the second. I'm not an IPA guy but i might drink the first one again if I could remember the name of it, someone help me out ! Got caught in the rain again on the motorcycle on the way home again after getting soaked to the bone last night, what was I thinking !!!

The food was more plentiful than expected (and all good), beer was of course tasty, but the people was worth more than the price of admission.

Very very disappointed. Got to Ebenezer Ale House @ 6:30 and couldn't park within a 1/4 mile.

I cannot believe we hit 100 RSVPs. Ron and I are looking forward to meeting our new members and seeing our fun regulars. Should be a good one! As always. ..remember to change your RSVP on the website to No if something comes up. We need an accurate count for food when I check the meet up app.

OK Guys! Here is the final data. We will be featuring 4 tastes with food for $10....it was a bunch of bargaining to keep the price down so enjoy. Just a reminder....the food is not supposed to be dinner...it is so that you can eat a little something while tasting craft brews. We all need a little in our tummies so please so not pig out your first trip up....if there is any left after everyone has had some then of course get more at that time. Thx.

Joe, just passing this link for an interesting article along, that I acquired from Facebook. For informational purposes, only, because the folks in our group are more accomplished beer drinkers :)

Guys we are at 67! I am particularly proud of our group. I dont think Ron and I ever expected to meet so many great people and to have this much fun. Please remember to change your RSVP on the site if you must drop off. We need to give the bar owner an accurate count for food prep. Still have not officially set a cost for the event but it will be in line with past events. CJ said 4 tastes and he is pretty sure 3 will be brand new for most of you.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
