Bushwacking season is back!
The Osgood trail in Allegany state Park starts near the McIntosh Cabins. It is a loop trail of about 2.5 miles. We will add 2.5 mile bushwhack.
At the high point of the trail we will begin a bushwhack up the mountain to our northeast. After reaching the top of that mountain we will head down to the Snow snake Trail, which we follow for about 1.25 miles, then a short bushwhack back to the Osgood Trail and back to the parking area.
Total of about 5 miles, but we will have about 900 feet of elevation gain, so it will be a long slow climb.
