Just checked Sundays weather for Bradford: windy, rainy, thunder. I'm definitely not going!

SO: The Plan--weather Sunday looks pretty great, so as far as I'm concerned, we're still on. PLEASE be there by 10:30AM, so we can be sure to keep this on plan. We are still meeting at the Parking Lot off of State Route 2002. Group size looks to be around 7 people total. I will be sure to bring a first aid kit, two compasses, a few extra maps, a knife, matches, and some snacks and definitely water--but everyone should try to bring at least of those for themselves as well. Dress in Orange!

If anyone has any questions or issues, you can call me at[masked], though I have T-Mobile, so my cell coverage out there will be minimal, unfortunately. If anyone has any questions or concerns, email me at [masked] or call me. Looking forward to it!

Also if you are beginning the hike from Hearts Content parking lot, the road TO there was dirt/ gravel the last time I was there. And since it's hunting season, don't use a white handkerchief ! And wear blaze orange on you head also!

Nathaniel quick question - what exactly are the "ten essentials"? And should one wear an orange coat in the event that there are hunters in the area for a meetup like this ?

It is hunting season, so please wear orange (or, as I will be doing, pin orange clothing to your jacket or backpack).

I did an overnight backpack trip here some years ago. Trail at that time was moderately difficult. I suggest checking the dates for hunting season also, I did that trail early Nov. & there were hunters in the area. May have changed since then.
