What is your level of outdoors experience?

Fairly experienced in the outdoors. As I said, I was raised on a working farm, I have been hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling and much more all over North America. I not only grew up on a farm but I also spent the majority of my time (when not in school) at our family's hunting camp in Rushford, NY and our bear camp in Northern Ontario. Not only did I learn how to hunt and fish but my father would tend to forget many, many times that I was in fact, a young girl and my first survival experience was at the age 12. My dad and I were moose hunting at our camp in northern Ontario and he had me follow him on my ATV into the bush for 4 miles. We came to a swampy area where we couldn't go any farther. He told me to head out towards the ridge and that he would meet me up there later, he would circle up the other ridge on the opposite side of the ridge. No cell phones, GPS systems or walkie talkies. It was a test, I passed, an 8 mile hike round trip, 4 guns and my gear.

Do you belong to any trail clubs?

No, I have hiked a lot of Niagara county but my outdoors experience is mostly 9 hours north of here in Northern Ontario and in the southernteir (Rushford, NY and surrounding areas where our family hunting camp was).

Hello! NY name is Amy, I'm a mother of three teenagers, a writer and a life long resident of WNY. I grew up on a working farm and I am the daughter of a well known Outdoorsman Hall of Gamer, John Long Sr. He taught me everything I know about the wild
