Hi Buffalo WordPress users!
(Don't worry - this is one of the few emails you'll get about WordCamp unless you subscribe to the WordCamp mailing list. Promise.)
In case you haven't heard yet, Buffalo is having its first WordCamp on October 20th! A WordCamp is a mini-conference devoted to all things WordPress, and it's something we've been working toward for a while. We're super excited. You might hear talks on plugin development, blogging better, SEO, theme design, and much more, all from the top web developers and bloggers in Buffalo and beyond. We're even hoping to have a WordPress core developer in town (fingers crossed)!
Putting together a WordCamp is no small affair though, and we're looking for energetic volunteers who are willing and able to help us make it a reality. There are a lot of cool gigs available, and it's a great way to help out our local WordPress community.
If you think you fit the bill, we have a form you can fill out where you can join a team and apply to lead a team. It's only a few questions long; I promise it won't take more than a few minutes to fill out!
Thanks in advance for your help. If you have any questions, you can reply to this email or ask in person at the next WordPress meetup!
