i was a good event - nice to say too many volunteers - they sent us home! Does this group usually meet at the events or is it just informational? - Also, do you attend fund-raising events for charities or just do volunteer work?

Hi Kathy! The group is open for anyone to post volunteer opportunities throughout WNY. (Of course if I think it is something inappropriate I will remove it) Events can include fund-rasing events for charity. Please let me know if you know any. There will be times when an event is posted and many people show up and meetup group members aren't able to meet one another. We are trying to figure out some type of system where we can meet as a group and volunteer together. Other events will be only be available to meetup members. Hope this answers your question :)
