1st Meetup of 2013- Bark away the Winter Blues!

The Puppy Playpen -, has graciously donated their space for us to hold our first indoor meetup of 2013!! Can't wait to meet all of our new members!

Feel free to bring your doxies, family members or friends to enjoy an hour long social meetup to play, and meet your fellow dachshunds of Western New York.

Dues will be accepted, but by check only, made out to: Emily Burns Perryman

For new members and old, a few rules and regulations reminders:

1) Dogs do not have to be spayed or neutered unless the meetup venue requires it (i.e. some local dog parks require all dogs to be fixed or they are NOT permitted). if your dog is not fixed, please make sure you monitor their activity with other dogs :)

2) Children are welcome to attend all meetup events, but please be mindful that those under 15 years of age should have parental or adult supervision at all times during a meetup event. Remember that all dogs are not friendly and outgoing. Many are from rescue situations and are shy and sometimes aggressive.

Read these helpful rules about kids interacting with dogs:

Here are some helpful tips for adults as well:

3) Please watch your dog at all times and prevent any aggressive behavior.

Thank you to everyone in advance for complying with our rules. We want each and every meetup to be safe and fun for all involved!

PARKING: There is public parking available on Washington and Ellicott streets downtown, as well as Chippewa and Genesee. For safety's sake with you dogs, you may want to have the driver drop you off at the door and then park. Otherwise, keep your doxies tight on their leash on the walk in!

I wish I could bring Butters to this, but we'll be out of town that weekend. Hope there's another one soon!
