I was originally slated for Chris's Cortex FIST episode, but got there late and hooked up with Jim's Cortex/Serenity RPG Hellboy episode. The pre-gens made it easy to fit right into the action. It was a great time!

  • Christopher S. W.

Good players, decent game... had fun all around. :)

    February 11, 2012

  • Jim M.

Thanks for the plug, Chris. Yes, 6pm for my game, I have 3 pre-gens left.

    February 11, 2012

  • Christopher S. W.

Jim always has plenty of pre-generated characters available. One of the hallmarks of his games is the variety that he has. And also the fun of it all.

Thanks Jim. Sounds like Chris' game will start a bit after 6, Wesley's game at 5, is the Hellboy game aiming for 5 as well or are we sticking to 6? Also, fair warning, I'll need a pre-gen...

    February 11, 2012

  • Christopher S. W.

If both games fill, I can take one or two people over the count of 6. :) Also, I will be getting there around 5 I hope to set up etc. but the game will not start until a little bit past 6 PM.

    February 11, 2012

  • Jim M.

Just to clear the confusion, with no afternoon games, I updated the start time to 5pm, which is when Wesley's game starts. Otherwise the RSVPs will lock at 1pm. Niels, you are set for Hellboy

Got am email saying that the game has been moved to 5 PM, the site still says 6 PM. I will not be out of work early enough to make a 5 PM game and do not want to make everyone wait...

Hellboy looks like it still has a couple of slots open. I'll grab up one of those if the headcount is accurate.

    February 10, 2012

  • Wesley D. Y.

I SHALL HAVE MY MIGHTY CAMERA OF DOOM IN ATTENDANCE!

    February 10, 2012

Hey, Wayne. The day is indeed listed as starting at 1pm, but since no games are scheduled for then, then nobody will be around. =) You need to say who's game you want to be a part of here, in this column (Jim's Cortex game has a few slots open!) And he's scheduled to start at around 6pm. If you get lost, look for a door on the 1st floor of Baldy Hall with a red Meetup sign out in front of it - that's me. I'll help you. =)

Question - I'm hoping to attend this weekend or next for the first time. I see the day is listed starting at 1pm, but nothing shows at that time for the schedule - do people gather starting at 1 pm, or do people not show up till later. What time should I be there, should I have registered with someones game first, or is it open pick up games, etc. Just like to make sure I understand how the day progresses and what I should do. TY :)

You can probably cancel my delve

    February 8, 2012

  • Christopher S. W.

We would make it on local news that's for sure.

    February 8, 2012

  • Wesley D. Y.

I dunno, Jim, I think it might be kinda fun it be run outta town by you guys chasing me with torches & pitchforks. LOL

    February 8, 2012

  • Christopher S. W.

http://www.fortestudiosfilms.com/phtotobucket/Game%20Systems/Serenity/Cortex.pdf has the rules set. Honestly, just read chapter one and you should be good to go sir.

I don't have a pitchfork, but I will bring as many M16s that they will let me sign out of the Arms Room...
Oh yeah, is there a manual for the game available? I would like to read-up on the rules before I sit down to the table.

    February 7, 2012

  • Christopher S. W.

Yeah whatever... people are no fun... And I got my pitchfork sharpened and everything...

    February 7, 2012

  • Jim M.

I think the Founder might take offense if we try to run him out of town, right Wes?

    February 7, 2012

  • Christopher S. W.

Cool beans... shall we call this Cortex night and hold our pitchforks and torches and run the other games out of town??? lol...

    February 7, 2012

  • Jim M.

I hate to do it, but its going to be a double Cortex Delve night. I will be running Hellboy at 6pm, I have a few slots open.

    February 7, 2012

  • Christopher S. W.

I'm not desperately looking for a 6th player like it is required or something. Just don't want to do more than 6 players at the end of the day. :)

    February 7, 2012

  • Zachary B.

@Chris: David Goranson may be available, I did talk to him about it. But right now I don't know.

    February 7, 2012

  • Christopher S. W.

George, you are welcome to join us... I still have one other spot open if anybody wishes to hop in.

Is there room left in Chris' Cortex RPG FIST Episode 2 "Operation Nighthawk" session?

    February 7, 2012

  • Robert K.

I'm throwing it out there hoping for interest. If no one signs on by Friday I'll probably cancel and run it another day. Whatever happens happens :-).

    February 6, 2012

  • Christopher B.

Robert's delve sounds pretty amazing. if I had time to do that, get home to let my dog outside and get back in time for FIST, I'd totally do both. alas, I do not. sadface. :(

    February 5, 2012

  • Christopher S. W.

Chris B and Zach are also both for my game... :)

    February 5, 2012

  • Robert K.

I will be running a delve starting at 1PM and going to 5:30PM.

Darkness - A Rules Lite Horror Game
It seemed like a normal day of classes at Clarksville Middle School, but it would become anything but. The sun starts to shrink and wither. A wall of blackness approaches. When the lights go out, kids start falling into an unnatural slumber, and the adults go missing can the kids of English 1 solve the mystery behind this paranormal darkness, or will they be consumed by the things in the dark?

Garrett, I thought your Dawn of Defiance game is the first and third Saturday. Has it changed?
Also, is the Dinosaurs a continuation?
