Card Game Night: Learn & Play Canasta, Pinochle, or Magic TG!

Canasta and Pinochle are fun card games that I've been playing for years! I hope you will join me and learn this easy and FUN games! Canasta is a Rummy-like game with fun twists :) Pinochle is a trick-taking game - similar to Spades. Come, learn and play!

Magic The Gathering is also currently scheduled to take place on this night, as a side-event. For complete rules and details, please review the thread on the message board, and please tell me that you wish to play Magic here on this event. It is a buck to play. The thread is here: http://www.meetup.com/BuffaloGamersSociety/messages/boards/thread/15740912

Please note: This night is specifically for traditional card games only, and a card game is defined as a game that requires, at a bare minimum, nothing more than a traditional-sized & shaped deck of cards in order to play it. Magic The Gathering is a modern-era traditional card game ... wheras something like "Apples to Apples", or "The T-Shirt Game" meet none of these criteria.

This week, MtG will be centered around Tribal Decks. Humans, Zombies, Elves, Werewolves, Tribbles (okay... maybe not them)... are all game this week. So bring your best tribal deck and see which race is the best... I have several tribal decks set up already for anybody who doesn't have a deck and wants to play.
