Panahar Bangladeshi Restaurant

Ed Say's.... Good food needs passion. And you will find passion at Panahar. Joane and I ate there and asked Mirza the owner to feed us. He talked about the difference of Bangladeshi food. How they use less oil, lighter flavours and balance of spices. He also explained that everything is made at this restaurant. All chutneys, breads, paneer cheese, yogurt and sauces. All made and served with passion.
We started with Pakora very well prepared light and crispy, with mint and Tamarind sauces. The next course Poori Shrimp. Freshly made and beautiful presentation served at our table. I will not go on as you will have to eat here to find your own Nirvana.
What I can tell you is that we can have 30 people at this event and Mirza and crew will put together a set meal and fixed price per person. Though if some want a certain dish it can be added that night at no extra cost. I can also tell you that it is bring your own wine or beer. No hard liquor please. The ambience is lovely. We will have 3-4 tables of 8 people. So sharing of food is a must. RSVPs will close at noon on the day of the event and as always, please arrive early or (at worst) on time!
