Let's chow down on some Hawaiian!

I first discovered Hawaiian BBQ here. Outside of my kitchen, this place has the best kalua pork I've ever tasted. Okay, so I've only had mine and theirs. Lemme tell you though, it's dang yummy.

No frills. Just good food. Order at the counter and then visit with your friends. You could get out of there spending under 10 bucks. How cool is that?

As always, if you sign up, show up.  Be fifteen minutes early, or at worst, on time.

Kalua pork was delicious, as usual. Other group members enjoyed a variety of dishes. Geoffrey had the joy???? of being serenaded with "Happy Birthday" for his upcoming birthday. Welcome to new members Thomas and Teresa (maybe others that I didn't meet).

This is one of my favorite unusual places to eat. Paul, the owner, is usually there, working the counter and doing whatever needs to be done. If there is a crowd, parking can be tricky, but i didn't hear any complaints about that.

Alerting you to the possibility of unusually heavy traffic on Lavista and Briarcliff--hear this on the news about 10 minutes ago. There is a gas leak at Loehmann's Plaza, and N. Druid Hills has been closed for a stretch (perhaps as far as Clairmont to I-85??). This means that Lavista and Briarcliff are going to be getting overflow from N. Druid Hills.
