Loved the mussels! Loved the company! We overwhelmed the resto, but I still had a great time and will go back for more. When the weather improves, I hope that our fearless organizer will repeat this event, outside and with a smaller group. Crossing my fingers. :)

The restaurant made a great recovery after the 1st round of mussels were delivered to us.

Thank you for you all to being patient. The restaurant did what they were able to make it up for the service. Not so easy with big groups.

I do want to compliment and thank Eva for one of the more unselfish choices. While the AYCE Mussels were the draw, she did that for the rest of us, as she downed a plate of quinoa and passed on the mussels. Thanks Eva, for thinking of us mussel lovers!

They were ill prepared for our group. They brought out the mussels which we had to wait a very long time. Some people got their own plate and others had to share a plate. This would have been okay since we could order more, but, they were so behind that all subsequent orders came out without the ingredients that they put in the very first round. I assume due to their taking so long to get the mussels out that they had to skimp on the preparation..
So, the first round of mussels were very good and it went down from there.
It was so terribly noisy that I could not even hear the person sitting right next to me. Everyone agreed. The acoustics in the room were horrible and it created an echo.
I didn't get my wine until I had asked again about an hour after we sat down.
I had been here before and knew the quality and service to be better than it was tonight, but, they just did not prepare adequately for this large group.
They adjusted my bill due to the slow service which I appreciated.

I changed my reservation with more than 24 hrs notice. So per policy I am not a No Show. I fully understand the need for policies, and I adhered to it.

Assuming that the bulk of us are ordering mussels, I wonder if we can just have them start bringing them out family style, instead of trying to serve everyone separately.

I am not sure how the process works to go from being on the waiting list to actually attending at this point. If someone would be so kind as to explain this, it would be appreciated. I would really love to attend. I love mussels , and I love these meet ups. What can I say! You all are the best!

Good news. After a very hard shell to shell negotiation with the restaurant the number of attendees is 25 !!! RSVP closes tonight, Friday at 6.45pm, adjust your response to avoid to be a no shown.

I guess this is what happens when it snows in Atlanta and everyone is told to stay home; we get on our devices and wait for the next BHF posting!
