We have a very unique and special opportunity to have an all you can eat brunch at the International Culinary teaching restaurant, Creations, located at the Art Institute of Atlanta. All dishes are freshly prepared, featuring high end gourmet food.
Everything served at Creations is prepared by upper-level students under the supervision of expert chef instructors. The wait staff are also upper-level students who are learning dining room management.
The á la carte menu offers numerous selections of spectacular dishes to enjoy in a relaxed welcoming dining environment. Everything is prepared fresh by the chefs, nothing comes out of a can or pre-made jar. Even the sausages and the bacon are house made and cured.
BHF Vaughn recommended Creations to me last week. He works at the Art Institute and eats at the restaurant frequently. We met there the other day and had a wonderful meal. The freshness of the food and the presentations reminded me of a how the Ritz Carlton or the St Regis serves their meals, but without the big bill.
They have an extensive brunch menu; below is a sampling.
Starters: Arugula and roasted beef salad with warm pecan-crusted goat cheese; Angus Beef Sliders with roasted tomato, arugula and Cabernet shallot mayo and House Smoked Salmon and Soup du Jour:
Signature dishes: Corned beef hash with a poached egg and sun dried tomato Hollandaise sauce; Shrimp and Grits with Andouille sausage, red and green peppers, and scallions served on smoked jalapeno grits: Salmon and Fried Green Tomato Benedict; smoked salmon cake, poached egg with roasted red pepper coulis.
An Omelet station will be open and also a Meat Carving station; with the carving station, they have previously served Tuscan style Turkey Breasts, Rack of Lamb and Prime Rib. Chef Mo promises we won't be disappointed on what they select for us.
Sides: Silver dollar almond-coconut pancakes, fresh fruit salad, freshly baked breads, house cured bacon and house made sausages.
Deserts: Creme' Brulee with fresh berries, Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding and Apple Cheesecake Bavarian style with black currant Sorbet
All dishes are served tapas style but this is an ALL YOU CAN EAT brunch, so no worries that you will go home hungry!
BHF's cost will only be $12.70 plus tax and tip per person. This is a 15% discount off their standard price.
