Hey everyone! I am a Compliance Investigator with the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations and we are having a public session as a result of the recent Philadelphia Magazine article 'Being White in Philadelphia', feel free to attend. Maybe we could do drinks or something afterwards. Don't worry, I won't be on the clock, I don't think. Just thought it would be interesting for the group to attend.
Here is the info from the flier:
Residents and business owners in Fairmount/Brewerytown:
Philadelphia Magazine painted one picture of intergroup relations in your community.
We want to hear directly from you about intergroup relations in your diverse and changing neighborhood.
The meeting will be a listening session to hear your experiences and recommendations for improving relations between people of different backgrounds – such as race, class/income, religion, national origin, age, gender, disability and sexual orientation.
This is the first in a series of public meetings the PCHR will hold in neighborhoods experiencing changes in their residents and resources.
