Are you looking to connect with other families who have children on the autism spectrum? Do you have or know a child on the spectrum? Do you have questions? Do you have answers? Have you said "yes" to any of the above questions?

This meetup is geared towards the inclusion of the entire family in meetups and playdates for not only our special needs kids, but for everyone in the family. I would like to create a community where parents can come to socialize, ask questions and get answers from one another.

Please join our group and make sure to ANSWER ALL THE PROFILE QUESTIONS. Also, be sure to have your voice heard in our POLLS.

All of out meetups are family friendly and are open to children of all ages and abilities unless otherwise specified.  Generally, the events are free or low cost.  Each family is responsible for their children at the events.  Most events will either be "buy your own food" or "potluck".  I generally ask for a $2 donation to help cover my cost of running the meetup, but I do not turn anyone away.

We look forward to meeting other Kids, Parents and educators to share information and support in dealing with Autism and other Spectrum disorders.

Please be sure to check out the calendar. Sometimes, events will be posted that are not necessarily meetups (such as the reminder to call the Huntington library for the free day tickets a month in advance). The events/notes will show up on the home page, but will not be posted in the "featured meetup" spot so it can be tricky to see.
