Paint Pescadero

Lots of potential here. Funky old town, western farm scenes inland, flower fields inland, marsh - not all walking distance from each other. Bathrooms and food in town.

We'll try for starters in the town itself, where there are lots of painting subjects within easy walking distance of one another.

I'll show you all other potential sites for other times around Pescadero as well, if we have time.

A good place to picnic for lunch or nosh at one of the restaurants. You can actually do both at one place on the block, Pescadero Country Store. That's where we'll meet back up around noon to chat and eat (optional).

Here is a map of possible places, which I'll try to upload somehow, but I'd prefer we start in town together this time.

Pescadero is an interesting little village, but full of activities on Sunday. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Thanks for introducing me to the hidden gem.

I'll organize car pools for those interested -- just come to the Woodside Road Park-n-Ride next to I-280 by 8:45. Passengers, pay your driver 40 cents per mile divided by the total number of people in your car.

Prob'ly should have said to come by 8:00 -- we will really have to start driving at 8:45 if we're to be in Pescadero even close to 9:30.

For those of you, who love to drive. I highly recommend the following route for Sundays event.

Take 92 from 101 to 9 which is Skyline, Left at the top of the hill. Than a right at Tunitas Creek Rd. It is right across the Road from Kings mountain Rd and snakes it's way directly to Route 1. By far one of the Best roads in all of Californa, tons of gaint redwoods,
And turns, a bit like being on a rollacoster, but well worth the journey.. P.S. be mindful of the Bike people..

When you get to route 1 make a left!

Gorgeous road, Richard, but it will be slower than 92 and down 1 by a long shot.

On A Sunday It will prove to be the faster route!

OK, folks, it's time for some planning. We'll meet in front of Duarte's restaurant in the first block of the town and fan out from there.
    Anybody need directions?
