Hey Ernest - I am helping put on a 5k trail race at Bolton Valley on Sept 1. It is a 100% charity event for Rebuild Waterbury, to help out victims from Hurricane Irene last year. I was recently told about the value of Meetup. My car broke down two weeks ago and now I am stranded in Burlington on the weekends. Anyway can we get a hike going this weekend (Jan. 21 or 22)? or any other weekends coming up?

Great name change!!

I think the name change should reflect what you want your group to be - you don't want to overlap too much into Hike / SS VT territory. I suggest that you name it Adirondacks-VT Hiking Club and include paddling and backpacks as additional activities. While some overlap is good, too much is not. We'd like to see you and your members on this side of the Pond. I know plenty of gems that are in and around the HP's that are well worth exploring. Elie
