HI! I started this group as I have a small group of friends who like to wall climb at Petra Cliffs, except we cant all go at the same time, so we want to increase the size so there is always someone to climb with. Beginners or experts, there is always something to learn.
One of the many cool things about this sport is that all levels can climb together, cause it is only one person on the wall at one time, with the other person either spotting or belaying you. If you have never gone before, you can rent equipment, be taught how to belay, and see how you like it for a day fee or beginner package. What I prefer about climbing as an alternative to a health club workout is that it requires you to engage your mind and emotions as well. As someone said today, "its great therapy!" So come give it a try!
