Play volleyball

The AV Community Center has adult open volleyball from 3 - 6 pm on Sundays. I'm hoping we'll get 10 - 12 people so we have 2 teams to play each other. Ideally we'll have people who can at least hit the ball so there's a little competition. However, it's open to all skill levels as I hate to exclude. This is open gym so I am hoping we can secure a court.

The gym tends to run warm (just an FYI). There are locker rooms on site to change &/or store your clothes -- you need to bring your own lock.

The cost for gym admission is $3 and you'll need to register at the front desk -- bring your driver's license.

We can perhaps get a drink, snack or meal following.

Should be fun. Just FYI the flyer said no black sole shoes. Glad I saw that before.

Looking forward to having fun playing volleyball :)

I'm 50-50 on whether I'll be able to come (family obligations). I assume there are enough people signed up so that I can be a game-time decision without impacting the group...

I will bring a volleyball because the house balls suck. I would recommend we try and get court three at the far end because there's benches.

trust me - you don't want me anywhere near any type of sport requiring hand-eye coordination.

It's been too long since I've played. Hopefully not competitive...

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
