Monday night OUTDOOR PICKLEBALL in Bloomington

What the heck is pickleball?

It is a tennis like game played on a badminton sized court played with a wiffleball and flat paddles making this game like an oversized ping pong game but scoring is like racquetball.

To get a quick lesson on how to play pickleball, check out these videos.

If you would like to try this out or even just stop by to watch and ask questions, please do. I HAVE EXTRA PADDLES and plan on buying more to share with you so come on down and join this fun group.

If you are coming from 35W then take the 98th street exit and head west and stay to the left and follow Old Shakopee Road. Turn left on Beard and drive straight south until you enter the parking lot at the pickleball courts. If you are coming from 494, head South on France Avenue and turn left at 108th Street (one block south of Old Shakopee Rd) and you will find the courts a couple blocks east of France Avenue.
If coming from the west then I suggest taking highway 100/Normandale Blvd south and turn left on Old Shakopee Rd and turn right at France Ave and a quick left on 108th St.

I won't be able to make it today but my six paddles will be with Leah. Cindy also its bringing extra paddles. Cindy and a few others will be there about 4:00/4:30 and Leah will arrive just about 5:30. Feel free to show up early and mingle with anyone there as ask for instruction on how to play. Hopefully I'll meetup with you next Monday.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
