Everyday 18,000 children die of starvation. I thought Burnsville & the Burbs could do something to help! Join me on November 5th from 6:00pm - 7:30pm for a packing session.

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.

**Please note: You do not have to be religious or Christian to participate**

Age Requirements: Message me if you plan to bring your child

Jewelry Policy: Jewelry and other accessories present the potential for foreign objects to accidentally fall into our lifesaving meals. Due to FDA requirements, FMSC volunteers will need to remove all jewelry and/or accessories before packing. Foreign objects in food can cause choking, tooth-breakage, and other problems. FMSC does not have a screening device like a metal detector or an x-ray machine to detect possible contamination of our finished product.

  • No jewelry is permitted in the packing room, labeling areas, Warehouse Crew Area or when inspecting raw ingredients.
  • Jewelry includes earrings, watches, rings, necklaces, pins, brooches, etc.
  • Wedding bands are permitted, however if your band has a stone you will be required to wear a glove.
  • Medical alert bracelets/necklaces may be worn.

**There is no place to store your jewelry onsite**

Food Allergies? See the FMSC website to determine whether you should pack food based on the ingredients.

Hope to see you there!

    Hi Krystal and Julie,

My life has been pretty crazy lately and have been under stress so I needed to chill during the FMSC event. Not intentional. I will make it up to the group. ;)

@John - we can always use more help. I am guessing with the storm recently they may be increasing their supply to Haiti. If you can't make it...the group would be okay with the number we currently have, but we would love to have you and I am sure FMSC could really benefit from the extra hands.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
