Do you have experience with multi-day hiking trips in rugged terrain (note: to enjoy your time in Bush Club, you really need to have some good experience with this)?
Where we go, there tends not to be trails. Do you have experience using map & compass to navigate outdoors?
We are a group of amateur enthusiasts engaging in challenging hiking. Do you agree bushwalking can be a hazardous activity and you are ultimately & solely responsible for your own safety whilst participating in any activity organised thru Bush-club?
This is a group for keener-than-mustard types, experienced in multi-day off-trail trekking, whatever the season. We crack a fair pace and regularly cover 20+ km per day over rugged & steep terrain.
If you just have to get out this weekend and aren't satisfied unless you arrive home the following day feeling beat-up....then welcome.
If you have done some great local walks, schedule it and show others why you enjoy it.
Additionally, kayaking daytrips and overnighters are gaining in popularity within the group. The kayaks are tourers & sea kayaks and do at least 5+ km/h. The trips tend to be 3+ hours of paddling per day.
