What is your experience with bushcrafting, woods skills, tracking and survival skills?

Gardening, hiking, camping all give me opportunities to "think outside the box" and I love it. I have never been pressed into a survival mode but I do enjoy being prepared and comfortable, even outdoors.

What drew your interest to this group?

More knowledge = more tools, especially to appreciate the outdoors.

What skill (bushcrafting, survival, tracking) interests you the most?

Are you more interested in class environments, collaborative learning or social gatherings with a bushcraft/survival/tracking theme to meet others with similar interests?

I'd like to have more collaborative learning opportunities. The BushcraftUSA program has an appealing structure to gaining new skills.

Learning & sharing are important to me. Been in Portland ~7 yrs, Oregon 24. Still finding new places to play.

What meg is saying about this Meetup Group

I've always learned something new and felt like there has been enough time to get comfortable with the new skill. Alex often does extra demonstrations to further our learning.
