What does a typical contract look like and at what stage would I need one? Contracts often seem difficult to understand and especially to interpret.
The arts and creative industries rely on contracts. By understanding how contracts work as well as simple negotiation techniques, you can better protect yourself and strengthen your working relationships.
This workshop will help you to determine the key elements of a standard contract, to understand its drafting, and to become more familiar with the basics of its interpretation so you can better protect yourself, your art and your labour.
