Westminster Business Council will be running an all day Procurement Accelerator event on 17 May 2013.

This event will include support on pitching for new business and tender management.

Former Sales and Marketing Manager for Reuters and leading sales expert and author, Bob Etherington will be presenting on how to make new approaches, and how to win a client over, and how to convert a bid into brand new business for you and your company.

Tender Management Consultancy

Tender Management Consultancy are specialists in training and supporting private companies to source and win more tenders.

They advise in more than 20 sectors and cover public sector organisations from the NHS to the MoD, the MoJ through to Emergency services. Their extensive knowledge of public sector tenders has enabled them to help develop both small and large organisations over the last 6 years, and they boast a market leading success rate of 84% for tenders.

This event is being run as part of a cross London procurement project, businesses who register will receive 12 hours of procurement support including practical bid writing and reviewing of past bids, tips from procurement experts and development advice for SMEs.
With initial places for 80 businesses we are able to offer this support on an ongoing basis over two years. Please note, completion of a registration form is required before support can be offered.

Companies registered must meet the following qualifications

· Less than 250 employees (full time workers employed during one year with part-time or seasonal workers being fractions of one full time worker).

· Turnover of less than Euro 50,000,000 or Balance sheet of less than Euro 43,000,000

· Is not more than 25% owned by one or more companies not falling within the above definition, except public investment corporations, venture capital companies or, provided no control is exercised, institutional investors

· In operation for over one year

· Based within:
The City of London
Hammersmith and Fulham
Kensington and Chelsea

The sessions are ERDF(European Regional Development Fund) supported and companies can send more than one person to each support session to enable companies to complete all 12 hours of support.
Thanks to funding from the London Boroughs of Camden, City of London, Lewisham, Wandsworth, Westminster and Westminster Business Council, and the ERDF, all of the Supply Cross River 2 events are free to attend.
Please note these events are only available to SMEs in the London boroughs of Camden, City of London, Hammersmith & Fulham, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Wandsworth and Westminster.

Businesses based outside the above boroughs are welcome if Members of Westminster Business Council.
