Getting off the Ground: Finding your Tech co-founder & building an Amazing Team!

Getting off the Ground:  How I got my startup off the ground and recruited an amazing team.

Going from idea to successful startup is not something that happens over night.  It takes more than just an idea - it takes a team, execution and a little bit of luck!

Join Suits to Silicon Alley on July 24th at 7pm as we delve into how some of NYC's most exciting Startups grew their idea into a startup and their startup into a successful multi-million dollar company.   The panel will feature an indepth discussion on what these entrepreneurs did to get their company off the ground; from recuiting the correct tech talent to getting accepted into the best incubator in the country.  The panelists each have an amazing story to tell, one we can all learn from as we seek to build something insanely great

Drinks will be served.

I found comments by Olga Vidisheva, founder of Shoptiques, particularly interesting since I’m consulting for an iPad app developer in the fashion/ecommerce space and looking to do more (marketing strategy and user acquisition costs).

It was especially useful to learn how she got 18,000 unique expressions of interest shortly after launch at minimal cost. Thanks to Justin for setting up the event and to all the panelists for sharing their thoughts.
