Since last time the IEEE SCV PV group has updated their website, they ARE meeting tonight at PARC, topic is:
"Storing Energy at the Utility, Commercial, and Residential Scale: Can Solar and Wind Become Baseload Power?"
Brian Thompson, CEO and founder of STEM
Eric Wesoff, Editor in Chief of Greentech Media
This looks like a really good topic. Unfortunately it is a conflict with this previouly reported meeting I've already signed up for:
IEEE CMPT group, "Additive Manufacturing -- It's Not Always Rapid And It's Not Just For Prototypes" -- Arthur L. Chait, CEO, EoPlex
This will be a dinner meeting at the Biltmore, their unemployment rate is very reasonable:
Thursday there are the familiar weekly Csix events in Saratoga:
Eco Green Group 8:00am:
"Starting Your Own
by Doug McKenzie
Csix Saratoga 10:15 am:
Jonathan Bender presenting "Claim Your Voice and Your Power: Public Speaking and Performance Tools"
I did not find anything going on Thursday night, if you do know of something LMK.
Product Realization Group Barbecue is Friday, still time to sign up:
This will be an all-day event featuring:
Case Study - Discovering Agile Product Realization
Micah Bongberg, President & CEO, Annuvia,
Technical Panel Discussion
Agile Product Realization - Case Study
Moderator: Eric Savitz, SF Bureau Chief, Forbes Magazine
Saturday there is CAM:
September 15 - Finding Work that Fits
Guest Speaker: Marcia Davis-Cannon
Fortunately no conflicting Electric Car Meeting this time.
Last night's Bio2Device event was really superb, you can find some pics here:
Monday I was at "Steve's Drop-In Coaching", later attended a different, private event instead of the AIAA meeting, Tuesday I went to the FMC retirees lunch instead of Toastmatchers.
Next Wednesday, ASQ, IEEE PES and Bio Device Meetup are all at the same time, start thinking now about which to attend.
