I not sure what the heck I was thinking joining this ride, after 2 long rides the previous days (courtesy of Rick and his quest for the Festive 500), but after it was all said and done I was glad I did it. Thanks Rick and Hen for doing most of the pulls to get me back by 9:30 and yes my daughter and made it on time for her practice. As Rick have said, we spotted IERC along the route and a few said Hi and cheered us one, only goes to show you that even without their their bikes the BOBies ROCK!

Woohoo...FAST pace today! We had two missions today...1) Get Hen up Vellano for the very first time 2) Get Chris back to his car by 9:30 am. Hen crushed Vellano with ease even enough to come down and pick me and Chris up as we sloshed up the hill. Although we liked to think we were holding back traffic for Hen conquering climb ;) Talk about fast pace, we got Chris back by 9:29 am. Nice pulls guys!

We got to see our IERC (BOBie's in disguise) friends on route on Butterfield and Soquel. A lot of strong runners!

We also had a lone BOBie sighting in the Incycle Cow Ride peleton on the corner of Woodview and Peyton. Not sure who it was, but you can't miss that vintage BOBie jersey anywhere!

Great ride to start the morning and I still have plenty of morning left (what am I supposed to do now...hmmm...maybe think of the next ride!)

Thanks Chris and Hen for joining me this morning!

IF... I join you. I will need to be back in McD at no later than 9:15am. It also depends on whether or not my legs can hold me up when I get up in the morning.

I'm guessing a 16 mph avg would do the trick. Oh did I mention that I'm holding up a carrot! Don't forget to wake up ;)

I guess we would need to do a 16 mph average then
