Patriot Prayer and Action meeting. All are welcome!

Bux-Mont Christian Patriots for Prayer and Action decided to begin monthly discussion and prayer meetings (instead of an annual meeting in the month of October).  This will be our first monthly meeting.

If you are a Christian Patriot, you may sense that our problems as a nation are serious and monumental.   And you may have joined a local tea party group to get involved.  That's great.  But is that the solution?  Are marches, protests, political activism, and power politics ALONE the way out?   They are not!

Our problems as a nation are first and foremost spiritual.  We have a national spiritual problem.  We are no longer One Nation Under God.  As a nation we have turned our backs on God.  We have forgotten these works of Thomas Jefferson:

"God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever."

Our battle is ultimately a spiritual one:

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."  Ephesians 6:9

Our Founding Fathers were all men of prayer.  When they faced trials in war or in peace, they turned to prayer.

We will open with a short video and discussion "Were the Founding Fathers Deists?"  Followed by a time of prayer.  Light refreshments will be served.
