There are dozens and possibly hundreds of freelancers around Byron who work alone day in day out. Jelly's are about getting together with other people, freelancers or otherwise, and working in a shared space for a day.
They're a great opportunity to get out, bounce ideas and meet new people.
Jelly's can happen at someone's home or at a cafe in town. All that's needed is a power supply and a wi-fi connection.
What is Jelly?
Jelly is a casual working event. It's taken place in over a hundred cities where people have come together (in a person's home, a coffee shop, or an office) to work for the day. We provide chairs and sofas, wireless internet, and interesting people to talk to, collaborate with, and bounce ideas off of.
You bring a laptop (or whatever you need to get your work done) and a friendly disposition.
Watch this video about Jelly, or read about it in Wired
What to Bring?
Yourself, your computer, a power supply and a gold coin.
