About Central Florida Single Parents Meetup

This group is founded for Seminole County (and surrounding area) single parents who would like to get out and do family activities with other families. This is not simply to get together and just sit down and talk, but to go out and experience activities that are kid friendly. We also help each other with on these outings which makes them less stressful than if you were solo. Ideally you will make new friends and have more fun. This past year has found us visiting many neighborhood parks, going to great restaurants, visiting the Science Center and many other family friendly activities. Get on board and let's see what other ideas we can come up with!

This meetup is an active social networking organization designed to connect single parents from across the northern/eastern suburbs of Orlando. We create kid friendly events that are always accommodating to both the parent and the child. We encourage you to attend your first event without your children to meet the organizers and members prior to introducing your kids to our meetup.

This is not a dating club; it is; however, a social networking group designed to foster real relationships with like minded, professional/para-professional adults. It doesn't matter if you have temporary, joint or sole custody -- this group is for you. If you are looking for a "Parent's Night Out" group -- this is not the one for you. All of our events are designed to be kid friendly. Not every event will cater to every age group. The events are scheduled from member participation and hence your ideas will drive the kind of events that are scheduled. According to a 2002 survey 31% of children came from Single Parent housholds. So know, you are not alone.

We can't stress enough that this is not to be used for your dating pool. But, after being around as long as we have we would be foolish if we didn't realize that relationships do develop. Please leave the drama at the door and keep us out of it!!!!

2. If you are approached by a member of this group in any way which feels inappropriate please let the group organizer know immediately.
