I just completed my SCUBA certifications: beautiful. Raven fish are wonderfully odd looking creatures and surprisingly sedate when you touch them, though they do have a poisonous spine running the length of their back that you'd be advised to avoid.
I'm looking to get into rock climbing lately. I enjoy physical activities as well as any other type of novelty that might grace my bucket list. I've done NASCAR driving before (bits of rivals' NASCAR flying past me), flown helicopters (r-22's are scary and wobbly on first flight), flown in an aerobatics plane(apparently have steel stomach) and a hot air balloon (learned the reason why they toast with champagne, just ask), done white water rafting, kayaking, jet skiing, snowmobiling (survival adventure), horseback riding, spelunking, gun range shooting, and SCUBA diving. I eventually want to be able to join a demolition derby with a cheap car and maybe at some point do some fire walking. I've also thought of seeing the Burning Man Project once.
I'm willing to travel around 30-40 miles max depending on the frequency or nature of the activity. For a daily activity i would travel less distance of course but for something special and more rare i would travel longer distances.
I enjoy fall. The temperature is just right and you have the momentum of summer without the lethargy of winter.
