Crowdfunding 101 (September)

We’ve brought together a team of experts with real-life experience and deep knowledge in Crowdfunding for two workshops. The goal of the workshops is to help you create your own successful Crowdfunding campaign. The team will share their expertise and experiences, specific steps, and grounded resources for you to take away and use for your own campaign. In addition, it is an opportunity for you to participate in discussions, get your questions answered, present your own ideas/campaigns, and work on your campaign with the team.

Our team includes a Crowdfunding Consultant, a Video Producer, and a Product Designer/Stanford Engineering Student. Additionally, they represent entrepreneurs who have raised $300K via Crowdfunding and contributed to $6M in fundraising for Tech Products, Apps, Publications, Art, Non-Profits, and more. For further information, see their bios below.

Workshop Descriptions

Crowdfunding 101: Crowdfunding Options for Entrepreneurs & How To Get Started. This 90 minute workshop is a comprehensive look at the four types of Crowdfunding (Rewards, Donations, Debt & Equity), ideal situations for using each, the top platforms, and steps to get started on your own campaign. We’ll have an open discussion to address your questions and provide the opportunity for you to share your own ideas/campaigns with the group. This workshop will set the foundation for the second workshop on creating your own campaign. (This workshop will be led by Leigh Lepore.)

Crowdfunding 201: Create Your Campaign will be held on Sept 17th. For further information click here.

Thanks for the comment. The $125 is the "Early bird pricing for two weeks before the event" thanks for noticing my typo!

Hope you can make it! Don't forget to RSVP via our eventbrite link,

Big issue here is also- is my idea amenable to crowdfunding and does it meet my business objectives? Many ideas do not fit the crowdfunding model well. Also, on a side note, are the two workshops $125 or $150? Both are listed. Sounds like an informative workshop!
