Cambridge developer's User Group
Hacking, Coding, Beer, Coffee, Laptops and Friends.

...In a small city like Cambridge, it's important to bring niche *interest* groups together, devoid of business interests and pressures,where people are motivated by "fun" and not profit, to explore common interests and help build real lasting friendships and communities whose shared interests span beyond yesterday's technology labels.
How do we do this? ... Coding Dojos, code retreats, regular socials, beer, BBQs, conferences, share business leads, unconference hack days, open coding, special events focusing on software craftmanship, agile, Kanban, TDD, BDD ... checkout the past meetups to see what we get up to ;-D
Camdug also hosts the following regular meetups:
* Javascript Monthly Roundup
* Snowcode - Annual Node.js, HTML5, CSS3 developer conference held at a ski resort
* Camdug open coffee for Lean tech startups
* Java, Scala & Lift User group : ( currently being planned )
...checkout our past and upcoming events (below) to get an idea of what we get up to... we'd love to see you at the next event.
What if you're looking to hire a developer? If you're not a developer or designer or techie startup entrpreneur, then you can only join the group and attend socials by becoming a sponsor, which requires paying 4 beer and pizza at any of the socials that you attend. If you work for a recruitment agency then unfortunately you cannot join as a member, and can only become a sponsor for an event.
