Penguin Plunge photoshoot, in support of the NH Special Olympics.

The Plunge is a fundraising event that benefits Special Olympics New Hampshire. Participants (Plungers) raise funds to run (Plunge) into the ice-cold Atlantic Ocean at Hampton Beach.

We have been granted access to photograph the event and share the photos with the organization, a total of 12 photographers will be in our group. Meet me in front of the bandstand at Hampton beach at 11:15am. The parade starts at 11:30, we can photograph the parade and will be given access to the plungers for their run into the Atlantic ocean at 12.

It is important to not interfere with the plungers entering and exiting the water. Please be aware that we are guests of the NH Special Olympics. If you have any questions please ask here. There will be a limited amount of photographers from the Seacoast Photographers group and the CAPE Ann group.

Please not we are sharing images with the organization at no charge or stipulations.

Some additional information. There are 12 total slots available for shooting the event inside the fenced off area. Any photographer can be outside the fenced area taking pictures and also photograph the parade. The parade is a fun event in itself, lots of photo ops there, be early for the parade for the best shooting positions.
