I want to call your attention to a new member of the CAPE group and some new workshops recently put up on the CAPE group's calendar.
Dan Splaine is a professional photographer with over 30 years of experience. His business "Test of Time Studio" is housed in an old mill building loaded with character up in Nashua NH. His client services include corporate, commercial, wedding, public relations, events, travel and portrait photography.
Dan's teaching style is very laid back and relaxed. At the same time, he's very passionate about photography and sharing his knowledge and experience.
He's been offering workshops in his Nashua studio for some time and has agreed to offer these workshops to our group. I've recently participated in a couple of workshops on portrait and low light photography. They were fun and informative.
You can find out more about him here... http://www.splainephotography.com/biography.htm
I've posted three introductory workshops for those interested in learning more about the basics of digital photography and their cameras and those interested in experiencing the nuts and bolts of a real studio shoot.
Digital Photography Basics: Beginner - Part One and Part Two cover the basics of your using your camera for digital photography.
On Saturday Dec 5 and then again on Sunday Dec 6, Dan will offer "Introduction to Studio Photography" where he will present a workshop on the nuts and bolts of studio photography. He will begin with a lecture on the basics then we'll get to put theory into practice with shooting scenarios using live models. The same workshop will be offered both days.
I hope you'll take the opportunity to check out Dan's workshops. To review and/or sign up for any of these workshops, please visit the Cape Ann calendar.
