Congregation Beit Simchat Torah (CBST) is a vibrant spiritual community and a progressive voice within Judaism. Founded in 1973, CBST attracts and welcomes gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender, queer and straight individuals and families who share common values. Passionate, provocative, and deeply Jewish, CBST champions a Judaism that rejoices in diversity, denounces social injustice wherever it exists, and strives for human rights for all people.
Join others in their 40s and 50s for fun events with a focus on providing an opportunity to connect with members of the CBST community. From guided tours of historic Jewish neighborhoods, to ice skating and brunch out. The 40s/50s group is always looking for input in event planning and would love to have you join us this year at our events. We are for couples and singles, members and non-members, all genders and orientations. Are events are open to all and the age range in our name should be seen as a guide not a rule.
