First Group Meetup

Our very first meetup is all about getting to know each other. We're going to talk about how and when we first fell inlove with writing or children's books, our current writing projects, or projects we plan to take on, and the steps we've taken so far in our writing careers. We're also going to set writing goals for ourselves and figure out how we can help each other achieve these goals.

Very organized. Nutshell knows her stuff. I will be attending all the rest of the meetings :)

Nutschell did a very impressive job of leading a well organized and engaging discussion on the writing goals and objectives of the attendees. I was extremely happy to have found the group and very much look forward to continued involvement and attending the next meetup.

It was wonderful to meet fellow writers and make new friends.

We went through 2 of the 4 worksheets: the Personal Goals and Writing Group Logistics Worksheet. We also exchanged stories, ate cookies and shared some of the books we've read. Although only five of us were able to attend the meetup last night, we felt like we had accomplished a lot. We left Mitsuwa with new friends and a new passion for writing. I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
