Hello Fellow Scribblers!

We have been invited by artist L.A. Marler to the Opening of her TypoWriters Exhibit this Saturday, September 1st, 2012 From 4-6 PM at the Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center in Venice, CA.

If you're obsessed about writing as I am, you'll love seeing all these typewriters on display.

You can find more details about the event below:

L. A. MARLER’s TypoWriters exhibit is high art of low-tech origins! It is photographic, illustrative and happy with playful captions. Fine digital prints are small limited editions. www.TypoWriters.net. LOUISE ANNE (L. A.) MARLER is a graphic designer and photographer, specializing in contemporary vintage imaging of archival digital art and fine handmade vintage imagery. She is a local working artist who exhibits her fine prints nationally, most recently at the Craft and Folk Art Museum. The diversity of her talent can be witnessed in her traversing of visual and poetic arts. She is a long time supporter and patron of Beyond Baroque, including publishing a small art book of poetry in 2001. Her work has been shown in many TV shows and films, including the documentary, Typewriter (in the 21st Century), which will be shown as part of the exhibition.
