Blogging Workshop

From: Nutschell Anne W.
Sent on: Thursday, February 14, 2013 3:24 PM

Hello Scribblers!

Gone are the days when authors can simply live in their writing caves and expect their publishers to sell books for them. With the rapid advances in technology and the internet, there are way too many books vying for readers' attentions. Nowadays, authors have to find all sorts of ways to reach their readers and sell their books. And the authors who are social media savvy gain a competitive edge.

It doesn't matter if you have decided to self-publish or traditionally publish your work, you still have to build an author platform. One sure way of building a following and reaching potential readers, is by creating your own website and starting a blog.

If you're serious about getting published, or being able to promote your future books, learning all about blogging is a must.

Blogging Guru Arlee Bird, creator and host of the blogging world's successful A-Z Challenge, will talk about his blogging journey, and the networking opportunities afforded him through the A to Z Challenge. He will also talk about how to get started blogging, how to create a sense of online community, and how to use Facebook and Twitter to maximize the writer's platform.

Registration for this wonderful workshop is open now. PLEASE REGISTER FOR THIS WORKSHOP AT CBW-LA.ORG
